Conflict Resolution Consulting is also known as Conflict Coaching. It is a process designed to help individuals effectively manage and resolve conflict. It involves working with a trained Conflict Coach who provides support, guidance, and strategies tailored to the specific needs of the individual. Conflict coaching aims to empower individuals to manage conflicts constructively, improve their communication and problem-solving skills, and work towards positive outcomes. It can be particularly beneficial in situations where conflicts are ongoing or challenging to resolve independently.
Conflict Coaching integrates principles similar to mediation in which the person is in control of their decisions, self-determination is emphasized, and the process is facilitated by a trained neutral/mediator. It is not a form of therapy, counseling, or legal service. It utilizes a systemic 3 phase approach to express emotions, build conflict resolution skills, and create action plans to manage and resolve conflict. It can be used to address a wide variety of situations such as co-parenting, family, neighborhood, and work-related conflicts.

5. Exploration of options: The coach assists the individual in brainstorming and evaluating various options for resolving the conflict. This may involve considering different approaches, compromises, or creative solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved.
6. Action planning: The individual develops a concrete action plan for implementing the chosen approach to resolving the conflict. This may include setting specific goals, establishing timelines, and identifying resources or support needed.
7. Follow-up and reflection: Conflict coaching often includes follow-up sessions to monitor progress, address any challenges that arise, and provide ongoing support. The coach may also help the individual reflect on their experiences and learning throughout the conflict resolution process.
